Who Will Benefit from These Classes
- Real Estate Office Staff
Part I: Keyboard Shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts are the easiest way to do things faster! Because both of your hands can remain on the keyboard, using a shortcut to perform a task is often faster than using a mouse. Once you learn these shortcuts you can use many of them across a variety of applications.
In this class we will focus on those shortcuts which work in most word processors, email programs, Facebook, blogs, etc. By utilizing the same shortcuts across multiple programs, your office efficiency will increase dramatically.
Part II: Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word is a popular word-processing program used primarily for creating documents such as letters, brochures, and learning activities. There are many simple but useful features available in Microsoft Word to make it easier for study and work.
In this class we will focus on using Microsoft Word to help you create beautiful and well-crafted letters for your perspective clients, current clients and referral partners. We will focus on learning how to add graphics, format text and correctly size your document for printing.
Part III: Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, available as a part of the Microsoft Office suite. Although often used mainly as an email application, it also includes a calendar, task manager, contact manager, note taking, journal, and web browsing.
In this class we will focus on using Microsoft Outlook to organize emails, tasks, and contacts. By utilizing subfolders, you can keep your inbox clean and your priorities clear. Furthermore, by utilizing the built-in calendar, you can organize your day and send your to-do list directly to your mobile devices.
Part IV: Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet program included in the Microsoft Office suite of applications. Spreadsheets present tables of values arranged in rows and columns that can be manipulated mathematically using both basic and complex arithmetic operations and functions.
In this class we will focus on using Microsoft Excel to build your database and to perform simple mathematical equations. The database you create can be imported into any software including Top Producer. We will also learn to use a wide array of functions useful for budgeting and financial projections.
